What this is, who writes it, and what it is not.

What it is

An independent guide to The Choicer Voicer and to dub packs, in nine languages. It exists because the game's information is spread across an itch.io page, a GameBanana section and a handful of community channels, and none of that is much use to somebody who has just heard of it and wants to know what it is.

Everything here is written from playing the game and from what its community publishes. Where something is uncertain — the exact folder a build wants its packs in, say — this site says so and points at the game's own pages rather than guessing, because a confident wrong answer costs a reader more than an honest gap.

What it is not

It is not the game's website, not run by its developers, and not endorsed by them. The Choicer Voicer belongs to the people who made it. You cannot buy the game here and this site takes no part in selling it; the link to the place you actually can is at the top of every page.

The name is used to describe the game this site is about, which is what a guide has to be able to do. Any trademarks belong to their owners.

The interest, declared

This site is run by the person who makes PartyDub, a browser-based dubbing game. That is why PartyDub appears on the alternatives page, why there is a button to it in the header, and why those are labelled with its name rather than as a generic “play now”.

The rule followed here is that the interest is stated wherever it applies rather than in one buried paragraph, and that the comparison is written so it survives being checked. If a page here ever reads as an advert with a guide wrapped round it, that is a fault and it is worth telling me about.

Something wrong?

Guides about a game that is still being updated go stale, and this one will. If something here is out of date, imprecise, or simply wrong — a format that changed, a location that moved, a claim about another game that is not fair — say so and it gets fixed.

The same goes for the developers of The Choicer Voicer: if anything on this site misrepresents your game or reads as though it comes from you, tell me and it changes.
